Home Systems Attack
Home Systems Attack Coverage pays for “data recovery costs” which means the costs of a professional firm hired by you to replace electronic data that has been lost or corrupted. It also pays for "system restoration costs” which means the costs of a professional firm hired by you to restore your “connected home device” to the level of functionality it had before the cyber attack. This includes replacing or reinstalling software programs; removing any malicious code; and configuring or correcting the configuration of your device or system. “Home Systems Devices” include any electronic device that connects to the internet or to other electronic devices. This includes, but is not limited to, networked versions of any of the following: smart phones; thermostats; entertainment systems; appliances; smoke, fire and home security monitoring systems; or cameras.
